It is the time of New York fashion week, which all the fashionistas
around the world have been anxiously waiting for. It is exciting to know
that we can have a sneak peek into next season fashion trends. By
looking at the major fashion houses collections we can get an idea of
what kinds of clothing styles are expected to dominate next year. We can
also see what kinds of hairstyles are going to be trendy in 2013. I
have looked at several designer Spring 2013 collection searching for
some trendy and chic hairstyles 2013, and I will gladly share the
results of my little “research”.
Creative parting is going to be one of 2013
hairstyles trends. BCBG Max Azria Spring 2013 fashion show featured long
hairstyles with weave parting. Very naturally looking volume, as if the
models just rolled out of bed, made the whimsical parting to add some
style and just went off to start their busy days. If you do like short
hairstyles, there was an asymmetrical bob – also with the weave parting.
Here comes some more of interesting parting, which we have seen at
Richard Chai Love fashion show. If you are a fan of sleek-looking low
ponytail, why not experiment with parting as well? Personally, I love
this kind of hairstyle: it seems suitable pretty much for any occasion –
for work, for cocktail party, for going out or on a date. I do believe
that this long hairstyle is also easy to replicate.
It looks as wet-hair-effect hairstyle continues to
be trendy – this time with some french twist to it, as we have seen it
at Rachel Comey Spring 2013 fashion show. Again, looks like an easy long
hairstyle to replicate.
Erin Fetherston Spring 2013 hairstyles were girly and romantic –
with locks, side bangs and zipper hair bands. Personally, I am not a big
fan of hair bands, but some young women look absolutely stunning
wearing them, and Erin Fertherston fashion show is the great prove to
that.
Here comes the most edgy look of all presented here. If you never
thought that nylon can be worn as a head cover, Nicholas K Spring
2013 collection has proved you (and me) wrong. I would not suggest
trying completely replicating the look using nylon and humongous glasses
– I would leave this kind of look for runways only. But the hairstyle
featured at Nicholas K fashion show definitely deserves an attention.
Vary casual looking hairdo looks almost as a woman did not have to put
much effort into it. But who would think that a hairdo like this can
look that much chic and edgy!
Although we have seen short hairstyles here and there at New York
fashion week, long hairstyles do prevail. Fashion designers continue to
surprise us by the hairstyles 2013 one can create with long hair.
Sometimes we get tired of long hair, and getting a short hairstyle is
the first thing that comes to mind. Adding a creative parting may do the
trick. Instead of cutting your hair you may want to just experiment
with styling it differently.
